I went to StokerCon in '19 and found it a wonderful experience. I was hoping to go back in '25 or '26 but this has really soured me on the idea. It's a shame, because the community is so much better than the handful of corporate-kissing fence-sitters behind this BS.
They just sent out a draft of their new AI policy to members with an open comment survey. It's a good start, but I felt it could be much more emphatic and decisive in a couple of places and said so. I've only been a member since January, but if they don't firm up their stance I won't be much longer.
