I know 'bit of a lad' can be a coded way of saying 'sexist', but it wasn't what I meant. He is the best of a very poor field though.
I never disagreed that he is “the best” but that’s a relative term. The fact is they are all terrible and I think we need to raise the bar on public debate and make that the story.
