Love this so much.
The thing I want most is for my stories to give a reprieve to some readers who are struggling and lonely. It's what books did for me when I was at my lowest, and I want to do it for others. When readers tell me I did this for them, my heart glows. I want to keep doing that.
I’ve learned so much since since joining Codex and Odyssey this past year. I’ve also felt a fair amount of envy. So many talented and successful writers out there! The best remedy I’ve found for my envy is to celebrate others successes. So please: tell me about a recent success of yours.
Relate to this so much.
Sometimes the only way to know if a story idea will work is to write it and see.
Humbled to see a number of talented and successful speculative fiction writers as new followers. Looking forward to following you and celebrating your successes. Also, hoping to add to the conversation of how speculative fiction can make a difference in this weird and wonderful universe.
Good luck on your list today!
I can’t be trusted with a phone timer. Too many distractions. My visual timer does one thing and one thing only: it tells me when time’s up. I do use an app for my long term project planning. But when it comes to day to day, I like the old school method. I’ll have to check out cuckoo.team though.
Create a timer, share it with your team and get ready for more productive meetings.
