The thing I want most is for my stories to give a reprieve to some readers who are struggling and lonely. It's what books did for me when I was at my lowest, and I want to do it for others. When readers tell me I did this for them, my heart glows. I want to keep doing that.

Would I love Mamoru Hosoda or Guillermo Del Toro to adapt my stuff? Of course. Would I lose my mind if Laurence Fishburne narrated something of mine, or played a character in an adaptation? Or if Stephen King liked my writing? Yeah. But I know why I write. And it's to be there for others.
