I am home from TIGHR’s triennial conference. Imagine spending 4 days with 300+ fibre artists who all want to be friends & share knowledge. So inspired, need to sleep for a week. Niagara Falls is as amazing and tacky as you’ve heard in ways you haven’t imagined. Selfie with my soulmate at the Tunnel:

A middle-aged white couple stand on the platform at the end of the Niagara Falls Power Plant’s tunnel, where water once drained into the river after plunging through the hydroelectric power generating turbines near the water’s surface. A tourist boat (the Hornblower) can be seen approaching Horseshoe Falls (a high cliff completely covered in cascading water) in the background. Mist rises from the waterfall into a blue sky. This photo sounds like a white noise generator, but much louder - I bet the Thundering Ones don’t so much talk as shout at each other.
