NCBD! Out of my haul this week the stand outs are Action Comics (Mark Waid doing a Superman epic in the phantom zone?! Hell yes!) and Sentinels (disabled war vets signing up to fight mutants on behalf of… a mutant? Mmm morally complicated) What am I missing? What was your favourite?

XO Manowar was fun, I loved that whole Valiant relaunch I enjoyed his recent Wesley Dodds Sandman mini, a nice 40’s noir superhero story with moody expressive art by Riley Rossmo. Highly recommend!

And Venditti added new fun reincarnations including cowboys, Kryptonians, and more. He could’ve done great backups in his run featuring different incarnations

That was part of it - reincarnation is as there from the start in the 40’s. Johns added more to it, but it was Venditti’s Hawkman run in 2018 that said he reinvested across *space and time* to tie together all the contradictory versions. They’re just all true!
