Once or twice you can brush it off. But when it reaches the stage where they have made it clear they can get to you ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, and do god knows what (they would turn up In bars where I was drinking and photograph me and my friends), that’s monumentally stressful.

Transphobes yelled at and most likely stalked the hell out of the BMA until they were frightened into not speaking up for trans people. They do this. A lot. I worked with one organisation that tried to support trans people and they had to install an airlock at their building entrance …

The BMA were subjected to a monthslong media campaign that fueled threats and harassment against staff. Now they have caved and reversed their opposition to the Cass Review. Threats and harassment is all they have to bully everyone into pushing transphobic junk science.
