In "the worst they can do is say no" department: A client offered me a $1/hour raise as we're discussing our next contract. I asked for $5. They said they'd check ... and they said yes!

We should really stop calling it “early voting” and just call it what it is: voting. *Voting* has begun in some states. You can *vote* now or you can vote on Nov. 5, and your vote is equally valuable in either case.
