The collapse of Twitter has made it much harder for me to advertise myself and my work. I illustrate bones and skeletons, mostly of dinosaurs and pterosaurs. I offer heavy discounts for academic customers. Further examples of my work: www.skyemcdavid.com/gallery

Result from the Shanwang formation #paleostream! Here I show the place during autumn, a scenario we weren't able to show yet. It's an interesting time of year to cover, not only because of the novel colors in the flora but also the behaviors that many ungulates show during this time.

Got some new followers overnight so I figured I’d say hi! 👋 I’m Tristan, currently working in fields of geobiology, spectroscopy, and omics. I dig microbes, isotopes, open science, and dataviz. I just started a postdoc at Caltech on new projects looking at carbon in soil and arid ecosystems. 🦠 🧪

Subo una reconstrucción de Hypsilophodon, que ayer me enteré de que también hay restos suyos en España, y me apetecía añadirlo al catálogo de bichos moertos de por aquí

here's today's #Paleostream sketches!!! today we drew Morturneria, Atopodentatus, Comptonatus, and Trigonosaurus

a Morturneria sifts through silt by some small icebergs
an Atopodentatus gives birth in a carbonate platform
a Comptonatus vibes in a body of water, trees can be seen in the back
a Trigonosaurus with multiple healed pathologies in its tail walks across a sand dune, clouds can be seen in the back

it’s just ridiculous that musk is still, in some corners, portrayed as some kind of savvy business genius while he lets tesla burn to the ground because he’s focused on letting a bunch of teenage nazi groypers dog walk him around the business he spent billions of dollars to ruin
