President Biden and former president Donald Trump traded barbs over Trump’s felony conviction in his New York hush money trial during Thursday's debate. Biden addressed Trump’s case directly by saying Trump had sex with a porn star while his wife was pregnant. wapo.st/4eICoud

Make no mistake, there is a race by tech companies to normalize use of gen AI as fast as possible across creative fields, before sensibility within law can coalesce. So fight back: reject using it in your workplace; inform friends sharing funny AI image memes; and mock its use to ardent backers.

Here's the thing: None of this is speculative. Trump is openly threatening to abuses his powers in a second term in ways that would almost certainly strain the boundaries of the law. Now imagine him going into this with a grant of immunity. 3/ newrepublic.com/article/1779...

One of the two favorites to be Trump’s AG has promised a three week “reign of terror” (his term) in which he’d imprison journalists, prosecutors and others who have criticized Trump. The other is Stephen Miller. www.axios.com/2023/12/07/t...

Exclusive: Trump's loyalty-first Cabinet could include Stephen Miller, J.D Vance and Steve Bannon

Trump would turn to loyalists who share his zeal to punish critics, purge non-believers, and take controversial legal and military action.

The people I know panicking most about Trump possibly winning in 2024? Not white liberals. Immigrants. Iranian. Chilean. Argentinian. People who know that governments can turn on a dime, go from a democracy to a dictatorship in a day. They’ve seen this happen before, and they know the signs.

The New York Times writes a letter to Senator Cotton. "In fact, you are merely parroting disinformation harvested from the Internet based on a website that has conceded it had no evidence for its claims." x.com/NYTimesPR/st...

The one page letter from NYT deputy general counsel David McCraw to Senator Tom Cotton remonstrating with him for falsely accusing fellow Americans of crimes.
