Whitelisting (actually remarkably common with GenZ and Gen Alpha) means unsolicited calls won't go through at all; most call-blocking apps (like Hiya, Mr. Number, Robokiller et al) actively block political calls and political polls along with known telemarketers and phishing calls. 11/x

Of a note here: At least *one* popular callblocker app, Robokiller, actually incorporates a *specific* featureset ("Robocall Revenge") that can be best described as "Actively troll unsolicited callers"; I'd be surprised if polling calls weren't being messed with via that particular "feature". 12/x
