What's the latest on solving Bongard problems? Did anyone ever crack that?
This paper uses Bayesian inference over a language of visual concepts to solve Bongard problems. It is still a long way from human-level performance, but nicely discusses the challenges. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10....

This is why we need mechanistic modelling, and why I think eco psych should embrace that - to stop fitting models with ‘plausible’ elements only one theory finds plausible and replace that with actual real parts you’ve definitely established are there
