more and more i keep coming across young artists who are completely kicking my ass at art, and i'm so glad bc it means they had access to good tools and good foundational advice. i'm mildly jealous but i'm glad things are so much easier than my Desperate Library Crawling Days lmao
thats a cool thing to say tbh. if you dont mind me asking, how old are you?
As someone who is thinking about getting into art, what exactly is this good foundational advice you are referring to?
same same sameeee
I'm in the same boat. I'm 42 and most teenagers are better than me. haha Though it's good that they have the resources and support available to them to get to where they are. I'm a bit envious though. ;__;
College loan forgiveness but art
Whenever I go on youtube, twitch or picarto I think about what an amazing resource it is to have so many artists demonstrating how they do their work, not even counting the things that are specifically there to be tutorials
Young artists really have it made when it comes to tools and resources, and it's honestly really great to see. I just worry for ones stuck in really volatile communities since heavy backlash may discourage them from continuing :(
The dis-embargo of technical information has been a supernova unleashing talent in so many areas. Youtube has been, by no intent of their own, history's most successful educational vector.
