I'm curious about the price and performance of hosting small site this way. What kind of latency overhead is there for a cold start? What's the out of pocket cost?

Sucks that they're still going to make PWAs run in Safari, but at least they're not straight up removing that feature any more Will other browsers be able to have a home screen shortcut to a web page? If so, then hopefully they can still do some PWA-like things and push Safari to do better
