I have no idea if this will work but it is impossible to understate how much Snyder v. US and Citizens United did to legalize corruption and bribery for US politicians. You have to be truly, truly stupid to get in trouble for it these days.

United States, 144 S. Ct. 1947, 1958 (2024). As the Court admonished prosecutors, “[t]hat is not how federal criminal law works.” Id.
