It's going to be the places that don't live with the chronic destructive effects of climate change every day that will be hit the hardest and suffer the most by catastrophic climate change events, now and in the coming decades.

I'm amazed that with how dry it has been, Ontario hasn't had a catastrophic fire season this year. I also learned that in the unorganized township on the other side of the lake, the MNR won't work to put out a building fire unless the trees catch. Someone over there was lucky to learn with a shed.
