2007: Ink by @halduncan.bsky.social (book 2 of 2). An absolutely extraordinary book. When I first read it I didn't know SFF was allowed to be likeable this. Staggeringly ambitious, profane, and hugely gay, a Burroughs-esque cut up multiverse revolving around different echoes of the same characters.
2008: Sea, Swallow Me by Craig L Gidney. An absolutely fantastic collection of short fiction in a mix of subgenrs genres, much of it queer. I'm not typically much of a collection reader, but I loved this & it is well worth picking up (in print in both hard copy & a v affordable ebook edition).
Vellum remains one of my favourite books of all time. Reading it as an undergrad was brain-chemistry-altering in the best possible way.
I absolutely love these books. I still have the hardcovers.
