🦠🧫 Microbiology opinions needed: A thick white jelly-like biofilm in a toilet tank (cistern). Water is groundwater decalcified with ion-exchange. System is about 4 years in operation. Microscopy shows loads of bacteria. Any suggestions on a probable cause would be most appreciated!
When is the last time the well and delivery lines were disinfected or shock chlorinated?
