An incredible mosaic with highly skillful renditions of animals including deer, a mallard duck, possibly a lion? Lots of plants too. There is an enormous white tent that has been erected over the mosaic and three men in yellow safety vests are slowly clearing away debris. Several people (the money?) are hanging around in suits mostly off the pattern. Not a woman among the workers or watchers.

Stunning. It will be most interesting to learn what further research reveals about the dating of the mosaic. The depictions are very three dimensional (the shading), quite a bit more 'artistically' advanced than most Roman ones (or maybe I've just seen 'early' Roman).
