Mostly true, but the rich can move to civilized states/countries when pregnant. And those who don't do that have access to chartered or private flights to get care. OTOH, when a few rich women run into this issue and can't get help they'll have more power, if they live, to help change things.
Among many other lenses, I see abortion as a class issue. Rich women will always have access. The more poor people are forced to give birth, though, the more desperate people will be -- and the more desperate, the less likely to push back against exploitive employers or push for their other rights.
That's because we've never had to. Which also means fewer of us try that hard, because we don't have to. White supremacist culture hurts us, too -- though of course, nowhere near the extent it damages others.
