Every time someone tries to use the term "commie" as an insult or to justify their assholery, I can only think about the NPCs from "Destroy All Humans!" As cartoony and exaggerated as they are, they don't deviate from reality as much as I thought. lmao
I personally think it could be a mixture of that and the design of the character being made to cater to a specific taste that may not vibe with others. And that's completely OK! I would recommend not to try to appease others and make characters YOU like HOW you like them to be.
I hate that "LGBT people can't be villains" thing. While well-meaning, people don't understand that vilifying being queer itself is wrong, but not all queer people are good people, and that's just how human nature is. Appealing to such people would take away from the deepness of reason.

Updated help post, I'm so glad to get to the half way point but I must get this transplant by November 1 or it will be pushed to August 18 next year, which won't end well for me. I am deeply grateful for any support.
