@willsmith.fun episode 249. Microwave power. Almost all modern microwaves you can start then press power and number. Saves on button presses. 30sec + 30 sec + p + 7. 4 button presses for 1 min. And yes 70% is the way of life!

@willsmith.fun Lostening to ep. 247, surprised that there is no love for GIMP as photoshop replacement. And I think one of the great features in Notepad++ is keyword color coding when you open source files, I do my shell scripting on Windows in NP++ because if this (nano on Linux)

@willsmith.fun episode 245 you mentioned plane seat power turning off/on. Working with these is something I do. If you lost USB power it means a device that is out of USB spec (switch or steam deck or laptop for example). If outlet lost power then its plane wide too much draw or a bug in our code.

@willsmith.fun sorry if this was corrected later, but on episode 242 of techpod you mentioned that solar panels last 10 years. While this is true for batteries, solar panels operate at 90% of original rating after 30 years. It’s time to replace them then, more so due to better tech availability.

@willsmith.fun , listening to your Ioniq episode. Surprised you don’t have NEMA 6-30 in garage for a dryer to charge from. But if you have correct wiring you should be able to upgrade from your 5-15R to 6-15R or 6-20R without wiring swap, just receptacle and breaker to get double charge rate.

@willsmith.fun , just listened to Techpod on surge protectors. Decided to check mine. I have two surge protectors APC from 1999 and early 2000’s Stratitech. Both still have the “protection working” green light on. They have been plugged in for their entire life but we have stable grid. What gives?
