e-Gates are down at ZRH this morning so in a rare reversal of fortune the EU passports line is longer than the All Passports line. This is the first time I have ever experienced a Brexit benefit.

We need more YouTube videos from people who go on about how they replaced all the Adobe products with free/cheap alternatives but then they mention in the last two minutes that they don't actually know what After Effects does, but it's probably fine 'cos maybe one of the things they found does that.
"You're quite right, and I do apologise for the oversight; now that you mention it, I see that the circuit labelled KILL DAVE IN THE FACE and the circuit labelled OPEN POD BAY DOORS are actually different circuits! Let's try that again."
In hindsight, the most unrealistic bit of 2001: A Space Odyssey is the bit where HAL9000 says "I'm sorry, Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that" - 'cos the kind of AIs we're actually building would be "Sure, I'm opening the pod bay doors for you right away!" - and then deliberately kill Dave in the face.

Flying to Zurich next week for an event. The airline I've booked with keeps sending me emails about my flight. The emails come from "Swiss". Not Swiss Air. Not Swiss International Air Lines. Just "Swiss".
