My nephew's text to his mom. He's a sophomore in college. Ha ha ha. #teachecon

I'm teaching Intermediate Macro this semester for the first time in about 7 years. I've felt a bit shaky all semester, but we just got to Solow Growth Model and I'm in hog heaven now. It was one of the models that really grabbed me as an undergraduate and it's such a fun model to teach! #teachecon

As a space nerd and physicist wannabe (as is the case for many economists...) it's so cool to work at an institution that is on the front lines of learning more about our universe. #boilerupwww.eaps.purdue.edu/news/article...

NYU study of "green" bonds issued in the US finds virtually the entire market (98%) delivers no environmental benefit beyond what would have been accomplished with traditional financing. Time to retire "green premium." A more correct term would be "greenwashing premium."

Serious debate raging in the house right now about what snacks we should take to our son's soccer game tomorrow since it's our game to bring snacks.

The terrible pre-school my son attended in Brooklyn last year keeps (somehow) getting their negative Google reviews removed. In the context that this is about children, it shouldn't be the case a business can simply scrub their negative reviews. Some neg reviews suggested safety concerns!

The thing few pundits want to say is that, of all possible sets of policies, the total combination of monetary and fiscal policy that U.S. has pursued since March 2020 has produced probably something in the top 5% of possible economic outcomes given the circumstances. A massive success.
