What? Kids might ask their parents what Selina and Holly were doing on a street corner? I think you've hit it exactly on the head as to why they weren't reprinted for that program. Smart!

It really is. We watched it on Sunday, and loved it. I'm glad that Netflix didn't try to convince them to have each location they visited be a single installment of a multiple-episode series instead of the perfectly-flowing movie that it is now.

Art re-share! I'd finally calmed down after being upset over Mera's treatment post-Crisis when a thread today got me all worked up about Hellcat's treatment ever since writers decided her name meant she had to be constantly dragged through Hell. So I'm posting this again & thinking happy thoughts.

I really want to say, "Just unhook the wires. I'll apply some GooGone and remove the pads myself when I get home."

Neither is a "universe", but I miss the worlds of SPIDEY SUPER STORIES and the 1970s comic version of SUPER FRIENDS.

That guy's cover photo over there is a picture of beans on toast, so I can only imagine how many foods fall into the 'exotic' territory for him.

Going back to correct part of what I said. The reprints were pack of 3-issue multipacks, so the one I had that included the reprint of issue #403 would likely have included issues #401 and 402, and some trading cards. They jumped past 'Year One', and did one that included issues #408-410.

Going back to @danmembiela.bsky.social's original question, it does not look like issues #404-407 were part of that reprint/multipack situation. Perhaps Miller's contract limited/excluded how the individual issues could be reproduced at that time?

In a note for the listing of BATMAN #403 on MyComicShop, it says, "NOTE: Most issues from 397-432 were reprinted in 1989 and sold in multipacks. These 2nd and 3rd prints have back cover ads dated 1989."

I have the second printing of #403 as part of a 2-pack with a cardboard header that I bought at Toys R Us, so I assume that the 2nd prints were made for that. Why that issue (and whatever was packaged with it. I'm on my phone and can't look it up.), I could not tell you.
