Comment: I should add, as independently published authors, there are some emotions entangled with these views. It's a bit frustrating to hear a best-selling author, with world-wide and successful distribution complain about some libraries not carrying their book. Indie authors can struggle to get anyone to purchase their book. And then there is Stephen King posting expletives on X because Florida removed some of his titles from schools. Indie authors are thankful for every single sale or KDP page read. It's hard not to feel like the authors on the "banned book" list believe they are entitled to sales.

to understand. Your stance is that banned authors don't deserve to be angry about their books being banned, which impedes our first amendment rights, because you struggle with sales? Am I taking that incorrectly?
