Honest question from a climate social scientist to my #climatologists#climatescientists more broadly: under climate change I know we expect increasingly powerful hurricanes and expected frequency remains under debate, but has anyone looked at trends in terms of size (sq/cubic area)?

Hope you get some pointers re your Q! I was thinking along similar lines, but not wrt hurricanes. Already did preparation for an analysis for heavy rain events in Eurasia's met.stations in the GHCN. It'll find adjacent station events and calculate size of the governing system on stations' lat-long😁
