I know they say not to negotiate with terrorists, but I’ve been reading treats for the random garbage only my puppy could find, and I haven’t had to pry her jaws open to fetch out plastic in weeks.

I know this isn’t cute behavior. But all she wants is for me to sit in the grass under her favorite tree with her while she chews on a stick. And all I want is for her to poop in this field and not my bathtub. And I’ve not felt this big of an impasse in my own life in years.

I’m teaching my service puppy in training to whisper and it’s the funniest thing 😂
