👉 Interesting venues for future research to broaden the perspective to less investigated emotions (e.g., boredom in poltics?) and inspect the hetereogeneity of observed effect sizes.
Using multilevel meta-analysis to synthesize associations between emotions and learning, we find small, though positive associations for positive-activating emotions in studies with cross-sectional designs, and negative-deactivating emotions in studies with cross-sectional and experimental designs
We show that studies mainly focus on negative-activating (particularcly anxiety and anger) and positive-activating emotions (e.g., enthusiuasm), and were mostly conducted in the US (71%).
📱 Besides providing general information on experience sampling studies and describing the functions of the app, we provide examples for interesting research questions and some interesting analyses 📊📈 on trait- and state control, value, and enjoyement
Danke 😊
Defenitely, already saved it (and miss the bookmark function here.. would love to have one including tags to be able to find them more quickly) 😅
