and then there is something about your exploring-suit that makes creatures inherently not-dangerous to you and instead you just get to see creatures pass as you contemplate life. maybe you're some sort of extra-terrestrial observer that lives outside of the food chain in some ways.
like i think it would be cute if the danger aspect was not really there. like it's established from the start that there is no way for your submarine to fail/be destroyed. instead your character gets to explore the ocean for treasure/craftable scraps
