My partner’s response to someone who claimed that I was too old to be a serious gamer. I think we need a definition of “serious”.

I’m increasingly seeing “debark” where I expect to see “disembark”. To me, debark means the cruel practice of surgically removing a dog’s ability to bark or, alternatively, stripping the bark from a tree. Why is “disembark” being replaced? What am I missing? #writers#writing

Since writing this article, I have received messages from angry men, calling me names, telling I’m wrong, & that I’d be begging a man to save me if I was lost in the woods. To recap, there are men are sending me abusive emails to prove they are the safe choice. So far, no bears have written in.

For the second time in two weeks a human-caused wildfire is on the mountain I live on. It’s being controlled but is yet another night of trying to sleep with bad air & coughing. We’re not even in summer yet. At least I can dream of the torturous punishment I’d like to dish out to the fire-starter.
