I am nearly done with The Ocean at the End of the Lane by @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com and I don’t know if I’ve ever loved a literary family more than I love the Hempstocks.

Have you read The Graveyard Book? It also features a Hempstock, who is, unsurprisingly a delight. 🥰

Also, I highly recommend the D&D podcast, Worlds Beyond Number, but particularly the children's story sessions. It has a similar feeling, imo.

Ocean at the End of the Lane, Graveyard, and Stardust all have some Hempstock in them, but Ocean is by and large my favorite! It's the book everyone should recommend when they want to try Gainan's books.

Watching the theatre adaptation tonight with my twins. Can't wait!

It’s so my favorite book by him. Top of my list for all-time books. You just want to know the Hempstocks personally.

The theatre adaptation is phenomenal! My teenage son also loved it.

Even as an #author, I'm really picky about what I read and don't read much because of that. The Ocean at the End of the Lane is a wonderful read, and well worth the time.
