I didn't think this is a case of compression; you can't extract out the original from the data set. Yes, there are relatively rare instances you can trick the algorithm into recreating it, but those are not designed into the system the way compression algorithms are.

It isn't directly, it's a metaphor. How rare are those instances, and how good does the recreation get versus how easy is it to get it?
