The windscreen and panniers definitely help for road tripping, but I've done road trips on an old Kawasaki Ninja before. You can do it if you get creative enough!

I think I've got just about everything planned out, even storage. Initially the road trip was Nov but decided to ride up for CFF and leave it with a friend for the Blueridge Parkway.
