A longtime colleague and her wife (wealthy folks!) still have a house in Florida. It’s gotta be hard to let go (they’ve lived there part time for years) but things are super scary there now and I worry about them.
The most chilling part is how eager that worker seemed to be to "document" the request, even though it didn't sound as if a formal request had even been submitted yet.
The sort of good news is the jack ass governor can’t run again unlike Texas where there is no term limits so fl has a chance to turn it around if enough people are motivated to do so
