I have no idea what to submit when commissioning some art. What details to provide, what to leave out, the general etiquette and process. I'd like to see what other folks submit in their requests to understand better.

As an artist and someone who has commissioned art I have on my skin FOR LIFE - share examples of their existing work, explain why you’re drawn to them, if you can supply images, not so much direct reference IT MUST HAVE THIS POSE but “I like these vibes” - a mood board that always goes over well.
