I have no idea what to submit when commissioning some art. What details to provide, what to leave out, the general etiquette and process. I'd like to see what other folks submit in their requests to understand better.

I was just lamenting that my midsize employer doesn't have a proper helpdesk or QA team. Product owners or end users submit bug tickets and they arrive verbatim to the dev team, often missing details. Having someone technical as the point of contact between devs and users for tickets helps lots.
