I haven’t been using Bluesky much at all, but I don’t want to go back to Twitter & Substack’s Notes is fine, but doesn’t have all of the people I was most connected to on the bird app. I’m gonna try this out again, even though I don’t fully understand it

Welcome back! I suggest following a bunch of feeds and then turning on this feature in the Home Feed Preferences (in settings) for a livelier timeline that's closer to the Twitter experience
