18. Diary of the Dead (2007) - George Romero's found footage entry to his zombie films. Gets back to some more effective commentary the series is known for. Very meta. Mostly watched so I can feel consistent with watching other sequels from series I've started/continued in the past week.

19. The Slumber Party Massacre (1982) - cult classic notable for being written/directed by women. Originally intended to be a satire of the genre before the studio wanted a serious slasher against writer's wishes. Killer is just a guy w/ a big power drill. Lots of nudity & violence against women.
