Absolutely brutal what the South Korean government put the Parasite actor Lee Sun-kyun through in the last two months over what seems to be smoking weed (or maybe using mushrooms?) once. Even that appears to be a false allegation. He killed himself today.

My sister's dog of many many years is leaving us today. Shout out to Sharky for helping me along my own ~journey~ by immediately befriending me when I first visited, despite "hating every man who comes over" You were a real one! 🙏🏻🐶

Holding my nose & voting for funders of genocide. Holding my nose & donating to their campaigns. Holding my nose & phone banking. Holding my nose & speaking at a rally in support of funders of genocide. Having my nostrils surgically closed so I can never smell a corpse again.

May I introduce you to Megatherium burrows?

A burrow produced by the extinct mega-sloths that once roamed South America. It looks like a rabbit burrow until you see a group of fully grown men in the distance with several feet of clearance above their heads.
Another intersection in a Megatherium burrow that has three fully grown humans standing in it with maybe 8 feet of head clearance.

They Pay Me In Woims: The Truth About This
Bizarre Form Of Payment
By Samantha Lee • Updated on September 18, 2023
In today's modern economy, most of us are paid for our work in traditional currency such as dollars, euros, or yen. However, some workers receive compensation in more unconventional forms. If you've heard whispers of people being paid in "woims," you may be wondering what exactly that means and whether it's actually true.
ff you're short on time, here's a quick answer to your question: Getting paid in woims refers to forms of non-monetary compensation like goods, services, or experiences rather than regular pay. It's more common in certain industries like influencer marketing but is not a widespread or
officially recognized payment method.
Similarly, farmers might trade fresh produce in return for a batch of woims to enhance their soil quality. This unconventional method of
payment can foster a sense of community and sustainability, as
individuals rely on each other's skills and resources.
Woims As Experiences And Opportunities
Beyond physical goods and services, woims can also be used to obtain experiences and opportunities that would otherwise be difficult to access.
For example, an adventurous individual might trade a jar of woims for a guided tour of a hidden hiking trail known only to locals.
Downsides Such As Lack Of Protections
While there are potential benefits to being paid in woims, there are also some drawbacks to consider. One major concern is the lack of
protections typically associated with traditional forms of payment.
Woims are not backed by any financial institution or government, which
means that if any issues arise with payment, there may be limited recourse for the individual.
