Dan’s Hamburgers. Reasonable price, meal for around $10-$15. (Never mind the hole in the wall appearance, it’s good!)
Dunno if it's the best, but the burger at Crown & Anchor is my favorite.
so I'm gonna throw you a curve ball. the best burgers I've ever had in Austin were at the Oak Hill baseball fields (where I coached for over a decade). I'm pretty sure it was a volunteer dad making them behind the concession stand, so I suspect it's no longer a thing. but they were A+++.

Pour one out for Player's on MLK, not the best but they were open at the oddest hour when ya really wanted a mediocre veggieburger...

my newest favorite burger is at Kinda Tropical (yeah, I know, I was not expecting this either)
