Bluesky is very rapidly becoming a viable platform for disaster response info, with far less insane conspiracy bullshit. I desperately want this to continue.

It feels like this platform is almost as good as pre-Elon Twitter was. The things I’m missing are legal reporters and election twitter, but the lack of the latter might be a blessing right now.
hey so bluesky has about 9million users, facebook has 3billion. lets not get people's hopes up while talking about viable relief coverage when there's a literal 1,000,000,000 to 1 difference in who bluesky can reach so far, it's noble but you're getting ahead of yourself, plz don't overload bluesky
Government accounts + official feeds to aggregate real information would be an incredibly powerful combination.
Needs hashtags, though. You need to be able to easily search for stuff.
Are public posts still invisible to people who aren't logged in? After Twitter falling apart, I am nervous about a private company controlling public information to the degree they do, so newspapers do it. We need at least more regulation, if not better government communication.
