The FBI has an official guide towards distinguishing LARPers from violent extremists that boils down to “the difference between harmless little nerds and dangerous little nerds” And I admit that’s a little funny
Definitive practical and psychological distinctions between live action role play and violent extremism can help investigators during their pursuit of justice.
I’M WEARING BOOTS OF ESCAPING!
LARPers use more duct tape.
They should have a reference for boogaloo-type accelerationism. They do the same kind of threat modeling as the FBI, except the goal being to ‘join’ events as violent participants do the most harm.
If the Nazi flag is attached wrong it's a LARPer If it's attached right it's an extremist If it still has the creases from the package it's the FBI
Better than them raiding Steve Jackson Games because they think the "Illuminati" and the "GURPS: Cyberpunk" game books are real:
Hysterical Sharing this one with the kids - (harmless funny little nerds)
There’s this house on the Oregon coast that I book on occasion with the fam. Around the corner there’s this house that’s occupied by people who are either LARPers or insurrectionists, and I’m not willing to learn which. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw the Feds raiding them.
LARPers have orange caps on our firearms
annoyed that IFGS didn't make the cut 😠
I'm not sure if I'm amused or saddened by the fact that we live in a world where such a guide is necessary. I have, unfortunately, met way way too many "trad" LARPers in recent years.
