I knew a woman from Sudan who fled to Kenya and then here. She was my student. I’ve talked to a lot of war refugees and hers was the worst story by far. She was 12 when her village was burned down and parents killed in front of her. She was sold to an older man and I’ll let you imagine the rest.

Hear Hear!!!! We see, hear and talk about the middle east and Ukraine daily but what's happening in Sudan is 1000x worse than the other two put together. This doesn't negate their tragedies, but shows the double standard the west has when it comes advocating for civilian deaths from man made wars.
