The worst justification for something bad is "well, we're all doing it anyway." Videogames are at the very least art. They're enjoyable, they're meaningful. AI "art" destroys the planet FAR more, is built on plagiarism and is an affront to humanity and to artists.

Realistically... We've already crossed the point of no return when it comes to climate collapse. The scales have long tipped, the planet is already destroyed in a runaway self-feeding collapse-- we're just along for the ride now. We did that... without AI, all on our own merit.
