So, my social media is going dormant. Maybe I'll Twitch stream gamedev/gaming once in a blue moon, but fuck social media and its breeding ground for toxic behavior of reducing humans to small boxes of text.
I'm reeeeally tired of people and politics and lack of joy... Everything is a problem. Everyone is a problem. We're all exhausting as fuck. Someone has to be first to stop hating. And I just wanna make small, casual games and bring a little joy to people in a world of misery while I still can.
How many friends does Godot need to alienate before any of those still-clinging inside there actually open their eyes and go, "Hey, maybe we're being a little bit of the baddies here?" And no, this isn't about the stupid anti-woke/woke shit-- it is about the people I used to call friends.
The spineless comes from the fact that their support is, wholely, contigent on the fact that the moment something is in a heated spotlight for them, or uncomfortable for them, their support vanishes-- frighteningly quick.
No, it is because she is a shit disturber who loves to start drama for no reason. I warned TMM about her months ago-- because she started shit within my friend circles... none of whom who care about woke or not. She's just fucked in the head.
Not gonna lie, I'm enjoying the backfire... Cuz I warned TMM about Nat and her starting random drama shit a month or so after they hired her. That is twice I called out people who turned out to be shit at their job.
Godot's community manager, Nat, is hunting down profiles to block on Godot's official account, even if they've NEVER interacted with Godot before-- or if they've had legitimate criticism about the engine. What a Wrecking Ball Nat is, lol. 🤣
How do people expect people to "just move"? Unless you have a lot of disposable cash there's no "just move". Family is a thing. Support networks are a thing. Cost is a thing. There's no "just move".
These are the same people who shit talked GamesFromScratch behind closed doors because he said ONE negative thing about Godot once. Godot people are not good people.
This is why "reduz" doesn't like getting political-- because he doesn't give a fuck about anybody in the project except himself and what could possibly ruin the flow of donations.
