How does the ONT R.10.4.1 yield compare with R.9.4.1. I remember seeing some data from ages ago that showed that R.10 yield was lower. Still true?

I can’t really state that the yield for the R10.4.1 Flowcells is lower in comparison to the R9.4.1 cells.

Not sure about lower yield, but we've definitely seen the N50 get much smaller using R.10s .

I think yields can be lower in a lot of hands, and many people (including us) hasn't quite adapted to figuring out how to modify extractions and preps to optimize yield on R10. Officially, I don't think ONT has stated that there should be an decrease in yield?

Not so it matters I think. We are getting fully closed chromosomes and plasmids running 16 E. coli on a flow cell and ONT only.
