Season then plays out as Each player plays opponents only once (19 games to play). Compare to current system (play opponents twice (one each H&A)) to play only 18 games. Four weeks of finals (Lightning as well) means we would play to week 23 of the AFL season.
(Assumption: We still have 23 weeks x 5 games a week in an AFL season - over to you AFLHQ)
