Folks, if you've ever really gone through it, and come out the other side, what were your reasons for staying alive? I'd really like to hear some <333

Pets needed me. Not just my own, but they were more important. At some points pure spite... I couldn't piss off the people that made me feel bad if I wasn't around ignoring them.

More recently, my being alive matters to my family. I've been trying to embrace a sense of morbid curiosity about the future; a future I don't think will lead to any sense of fulfillment or peace. I want to express love for as long as I can, even though I can't talk to anyone for weeks at a time.
