It's taken me many years to understand that as a serious statement, and not just some bit of snark.

This reminds me very much of the convicting moment I had in the lead up to Easter when I realized how badly, in the story of the feeding of the five thousand, I often want to be the boy who brings the loaves and fishes, not “just” someone who received plenty from the hand of the Lord
